Dear AdventuRiders,
Neither Severe Thunderstorm Warning, nor New Hampshire mud, nor being late for dinner, stays the Fearless Leader from the swift completion of his appointed rounds...
Anyhow, (dirt) Federal Hill Road is very rough and they might dig it up tomorrow. (dirt) Rocky Pond Road isn't great, but they seem to be finished. So we are going to get to the ghost town of Monson Center the old fashioned, way by walking / riding through the woods for about 1/2 mile. You may want to bring bug repellent.
After that, "its all downhill" (trust me :-) to the GREAT VIEWS, pony(?), and the goats. We will cross a 100+ year old pedestrian suspension bridge in Milford and on the way back, and we can stop at the Lull Farm Store (Live Free and Farm) too.
Lunch is at Chrysanthi's Restaurant at the 20 mile mark. You can stay for lunch or its a 2 1/2 mile straight shot down Route 13 to the starting point.
