Harvard- Portsmouth- Dunstable

We have some lovely rides planned this week.  (Open the attachment if you would like to see the schedule nicely formatted.) The apple blossoms should be blooming in Harvard.   Portsmouth is a perennial favorite but stay tuned. We might switch this ride out for a warmer day depending on the forecast and the wind. Friday, we will visit the stone arch bridge and enjoy the scenery in Tyngsboro.


Monday, May 9- Harvard Center


Morning Recreation Ride

The morning recreation ride will feature Bare Hill Pond, Still River, Prospect Hill, and of course, GOATS.  


  • ¥ 9:30 AM- The Recreation Ride will leave
  • ¥ 11:30 AM – We should be back
  • ¥ Starting Point Map - Harvard Center
  • ¥ Parking - Park between Town Hall and the church or over by the fire station. Please leave parking room in front of Town Hall.
  • ¥ Facilities – Harvard town hall and Harvard General Store
  • ¥ Route Map - Harvard - Bare Hill Pond
  • ¥ Distance -10 miles
  • ¥ Elevation Gain - 562 feet
  • ¥ Unpaved - ½-mile smooth grave


11:30-12:30 Lunch 

Harvard General Store (yummy and slow) or BYOL.  If weather is nice, we will eat outdoors at picnic tables.


Afternoon Fitness Ride

The afternoon ride will feature the Shaker stone barn, cemetery, and the center village. We will also ride UP Oak Hill and check out the apple orchards. Then it's the roller coaster ride back to town.

Wednesday, May 11- Hampton North Beach


This is one of our all-time favorite AdventuRides routes.  The ride to Portsmouth follows the coastline, with stunning views and several stops at historical and scenic parks along the way.  Our famous easel photos are taken on this route.  The mussels and beer at the Portsmouth Brewery are excellent and there are a wide variety of offerings, liquid and solid.

Friday, May 13 - Larter Field in Dunstable


Morning Fitness Ride

We will do some climbing today, but the route is worth the effort.  We will ride on sparsely traveled roads with lovely farms and vistas.
