Dear AdventuRiders,
While you are waiting to dry out, you can take a moment to register for the Spring 2010 AdventuRides season. Check out our Registration page for more details. You don't need to register for tomorrow's preseason ride.
You may not be able to "git heyah from theyah", but the weather is looking terrific for tomorrow. Route 119 is closed on both sides of Groton and Route 225 is closed from West Groton, Good Luck! The forecast is low 50's and partly cloudy in the morning and low 60's and sunny in the afternoon.
Tomorrow's ride will be all on road, mostly because everything else is muddy, but also because I'm planning to ride my shiny new road bike. I think we will head for Pepperell on the Rail Trail to watch the flooding there and also check out the new covered bridge. We can go check out the Nissitissit River and come back along the other side of the Nashua River for a while. I'm thinking about 15 - 20 miles depending on what people want to do. Everyone is welcome.
So, the plan is to meet at the Rail Trail parking in Groton Center and be ready to leave at 9:30 AM. Here is a map.
* At 9:30 AM - We will leave for the floods.
* At 12:30 PM or earlier - We will be back.
* Optional lunch at Main Street Cafe of Filho's.
Hope to see you there,
Bill and Carole
