Dear AdventuRiders,
The ride from Hollis, NH to Nashua is one of my favorite rides! The weather is looking smashing as well. The forecast calls for pretty much a carbon copy of today with less wind. BTW, don't forget your sunscreen. I got a bit baked today :-(
Since Hollis is a "Hill Town" and Nashua is a "Mill Town", you can imagine that the morning ride will be downhill and the afternoon ride will be uphill. The route is a little over 25 miles with a little over 1000 feet vertical. There are some gravel / dirt roads on the route along the Merrimac River, Mine Falls Park, and also as we get back to Hollis. Despite that, I am planning to ride my new road bike / toy. It should be warm enough that we can have lunch on the sidewalk at Martha's.
I have attached some pictures from the Monday afternoon ride in Boxborough.
For those of you wondering what the heck they are doing to Route 119, Alex took this video on Sunday. Thanks Alex!
